I am using your data counter for treatment sessions with my students. It time stamps the date, but not the time. Am I missing something here? I am doing several trials in each session, and would like to be able to account for them with a time stamp as well.
Thank you for your comment: I am using your data counter for treatment sessions with my students. It time stamps the date, but not the time. Am I missing something here? I am doing several trials in each session, and would like to be able to account for them with a time stamp as well.
I hope you find the data counter useful. When we created the app, we made this for daily sessions. Although we certainly have the capability to do a an actual time stamp in addition to day, we chose to only include date only for “room on the line” reasons. We can explore adding this option to an additional release that can give you the option. I have marked down your comment for incorporation.
I just bought the data tracking app. I thought I could put whatever data I wanted in it but it looks like I can just count right and wrog answers. Is there a way to change to tracking a behavior and will it generate a graph?
The data tracking app was created to be simple way to track right and wrong / yes or no response data in a session setting. You can add anything into the recorded data that you wish by creating a note and adding in any text, numbers, or any other information in the note functionality. In the sense of tracking a behavior such as a favorable or unfavorable behavior you should be able to use the yes or no / right or wrong buttons to track. If you are asking to track multiple behaviors (more than 2), the app currently does not have the functionality for that. If you provide some specific examples, we might be able to look into an app that might provide that kind of functionality.
As far as the graphing function is concerned, the app itself does not allow for graphing. This was done in the sense of keeping the app simple and stable (no crashes) since no one wants to lose data with a complex app. However we did realize that people may want to graph their data after they collect it with the app. So we wrote this app with the email function so that you can email your data to yourself (or anyone else) and quickly copy the data into an spreadsheet such as Excel. If you then use a sorting feature by the date stamp, then a text to column feature with delimiting functionality, you can easily get the data in under 5 minutes (once you understand this functionality in Excel or another spreadsheet software). At that point, you have much more flexibility than an app could deliver. You also have the flexibility when entering any note to use a special character to start it (such as a “>” or something else of your choice) to help with sorting for easier spreadsheet use. This was decided to make the app easier to custom for any user with some thought.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if this answers your question or you have any other follow-up / questions about this.
Thank you for finding the error. We have corrected the page to show the correct OD. Additionally, a metric addition was incorporated into the application.
There really is not any web site for more instructions than what was in the app description. However if you tell us any specific questions you have with the data counter, we will do our best to help you.
I have the following suggestions for future features that I would find useful:
- The ability to subtract entries when using the correct/incorrect counter. This would be useful in the event I accidentally press the wrong button.
- The ability to edit a Session after it has been saved. This would be useful if I am tracking more than one goal at once and need to be able to switch back and forth between them.
- The ability to have separate goals for each student. Although I am able to enter notes to define each goal, sessions are added below all of the goals. Right now, I have to put in a new student name for each student’s goal.
Overall, I think this is a good start to an interesting product. I appreciate the simplicity, but I also look forward to added features in the future.
Thank you for the suggestions. We have an update coming out that will allow subtract entries as well as a “resume last session” feature. This “resume” feature is great for group sessions or if you are working on multiple goals that are entered as separate names as described in our comment.
As always, comments and suggestions are appreciated.

The OD on a 4.5″ pipe is 5″ instead of the 4.5″ stated in your chart. Also it would be helpful to be able to use cm in the increments. Thanks.

I am having difficulty using this app. Is there a site that I can go to, that would give me instructions on how to use this app.
